Linda Kay Abeyta Richards is at peace, passing away on June 18th at the age of 59 after battling breast cancer for 10 ½ years. Born in Grand Junction, Colorado on June 23, 1952 to Richard and Theresa Abeyta, Linda is survived by her husband Fred Richards, her Mother Theresa Abeyta, her daughter Sonya Green, son-in-law Chris Green, grandson Parker Green, and sister Karlene Katter.
Linda loved spending time with family and friends more than anything, and beat all odds living to spend the first year of her grandson's life with him. She will continue to live on through her family while she is at peace with the Lord.

She was such a cute, quiet, person. She lived right around the corner from me on Stratford. I loved seeing her smile. She was very shy, but I loved how to get that smile going. If we could only go back and bring those in our lives more who have deceased.
