Debra Larsen Brandon Mar 12, 1952 - Nov 13th, 2018. Debra Brandon passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis and CNS Lymphoma. Debra kept her positive attitude and sense of humor till her final breath. Debra was an inspiration and was loved by all who knew her. Debra was a gifted artist and entrepreneur. 
Debra earned her "Bachelorette" of Fine Arts from the University of Utah. Debra's artistic gifts blossomed at Highland High School in SLC where she earned numerous awards for designing year book covers and playbills. In 1980 Debra's art was displayed at the newly opened Abravanel Hall and recognized as one of Utah's most accomplished women artists. Debra began her professional career in screen printing at Western Screen Graphics in the art department before becoming a co-owner. Debra then started RD Screendesign in 2000 with her husband Arlen, whom she worked side by side with as a team for over three decades. 
Debra had a life rich with love from those around her. Debra was a hippy at heart, believing in the love and good in the world. Debra formed lasting relationships with her many colleagues and clients. From the cashier at the grocery store to the bank teller and post office workers, everyone knew and loved her. 
Debra's first passion was art while her second passion was music. Her home was a hub of creativity. Debra and Arlen devoted their Saturday nights to hosting band practice with close friends while welcoming other fellow music lovers over the years.
Debra's third passion was dragons, but only the wise ones. 
Debra leaves behind her husband and partner Arlen Maw, her son Dylan Maw (Jessica), siblings brother Kevin Larsen (Barbara), Rebecca Dowdell (Daryl), grandchildren Nathan, Jada, and Sophia, her many friends, her pound puppy Oreo, and all the people whose lives she touched.
Debra is preceded in death by her parents Melvin & Nancy Larsen of SLC and all the pound puppies she adopted along the way.
Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday November 20th from 6 -7:30 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary 3401 S. Highland Dr. SLC, UT 84106
