Gregory Bost

In Memory of Gregory Charles Bost September 22, 1952 - December 4, 2011 Obituary Gregory Charles Bost, 59 of Savannah, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 4, 2011 at Hospice Savannah. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Laveve Nelson Bost. Greg was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah and attended local schools. He moved to Savannah in 1994 and was a maintenance instructor for Flight Safety International. Greg was an avid motorcyclist and had attended several motorcycle rallies with his close friends. He was a member of the Harley owners group (Hog) in Savannah. To know Greg was to love him, in spite of his hard head. He always put others first before himself. Along with his solidarity and protectiveness of those he loved, he wanted nothing more than to see his children, step-children and grandchildren succeed and be happy in life. He had a great sense of humor. He loved woodworking and had built several intricate pieces of furniture. One of Greg's biggest passions was being a professional photographer and operating his own photography business. Greg is survived by his former wife, Myra Skidds; son, Christopher Bost; daughter, Danielle Bost; brother, Jeff Bost; step-daughters, Natasha Skidds and RoseAnna Sheffield; step-sons, Nathan and Jordan Sheffield; two grandchildren, Mariah Duncan and Aerika Bost. Funeral services will be on Saturday, December 10 at 1 pm in the Hubert C. Baker Chapel with Rev. Sam Watkins officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
