Dwight D Brown

Dwight D. Brown 8/18/52 ~ 4/19/06 Dwight returned home to his Heavenly Father on April 19, 2006 after a valiant battle with renal failure and other health complications. Dwight was blessed with an additional 22 years of life, thanks to a kidney transplant from his brother Dale. He was born on August 18, 1952 in Salt Lake City to Dale S. and Crystal Dastrup Brown. He married his childhood sweetheart Beverlee Sybrowsky on September 15, 1972 in the Salt Lake Temple. He is the proud father of five children and grandfather to five adored grandchildren. Making lasting family memories and participating in family traditions were very important to Dwight. He worked hard to provide memorable activities and a good life for his family. He loved sports, music and life, always keeping his family as his first priority. He was a lifelong active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had the opportunity to serve in many callings including bishop of the Murray 22nd Ward, high councilman, and high priest group leader. He had great, unwavering faith in our Savior and was looking forward to meeting Him again. Dwight worked in the automotive industry for over 30 years. He worked his way from a salesman to general manager and achieved salesman of the year three times within the Larry H. Miller organization. After which he became a national corporate trainer for Lexus. He enjoyed his association with Rastar Digital Marketing, and appreciated Grant Fletcher and others with whom he worked. He worked hard in all that he did and always lived and worked with integrity. He was an extraordinary example to all who knew him. His perseverance, courage, love for his family, and faith in the Lord were inspiring to all. We love and appreciate him very much and look forward to being together again someday. Dwight is survived by his loving wife Beverlee, his children: Justin (Natalie), Michael (Sharon), Rebecca (Austin) Lawrence, Amanda (Robert) Nunley, and Matthew; his grandchildren Jaxon, Savannah, Sophia Brown, Andrew Dwight Brown, and Rylee Lawrence. He is also survived by his father-in-law John Sybrowsky; his siblings Dale (Karen), Sherlyn Marks, David (Laura), Doug (Lynn), and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, mother-in-law Clare Sybrowsky. A special thanks to the staff and caregivers at Oquirrh Dialysis, Salt Lake Regional Medical Center and Garden Terrace
