Julie Grundmann

Julie Grundmann Tanner, 42, passed away April 29, 1995, at her home with her loving husband at her side.

Born July 14, 1952, in Salt Lake City, daughter of B. Raymond and Shirley Davis Grundmann. Married Steven A. Tanner September 20, 1979, in Farmington, Utah.Graduated from U of U with a BA degree in art. Won numerous awards in art shows and at the Utah State Fair; specializing in stained glass.

Loved the out-of-doors, camping, hiking, skiing, biking, music, family and friends. Was known for her creative costumes for Halloween and other occasions. Enjoyed dance and aerobics.

Survivors: husband; sons, Travis and Cody; mother; sister, Carol Grundmann; brother, Keith Grundmann, all of Salt Lake City; sister, Mrs. Paul (Leslie) Allen of Sandy, Utah; Halley her dog and Bueford her cat.

Connie Blaine

Julie was the best friend I ever had.  She was the kindest, most patient and loving soul!  She and I were inseperable in college.  I have so many great memories of her.  I still miss her so much.  I treasure the stained glass desert scene that she made, still hanging in my window.  She was one in a billion.
