In Memory

Rebecca Luras

Rebecca Luras

On February 16, 2001 God sent a garrison of Angels to wrap their wings around Rebecca Luras and they soared away with her to the Elysian Fields of paradise.

Rebecca was received into this world as a wonderful bundle of light on June 30, 1952 to Andrew James and Mickey Luras.

She grew up and spent most of her life in Salt Lake, until she moved to Paris, Idaho where she carried out her life. She was a graduate of Highland High School with a Masters Degree in the ability to love with a depth beyond reason.

She married Lawrence J. Brennan Jr. and together they had one beautiful daughter Andrea Laura Brennan. Later divorced, she spent the last two decades of her life with her soul mate and life partner David E. Payne who stayed diligently beside her to the end.

Rebbie was not afraid of work. She worked in her family business, at "Ex-Wife's Place" most of her life and was the owner and operator of the Railhead restaurant and bar in Montpelier, Idaho. Rebbie created special bonds with several people; she was always there for so many. Her greatest gift from God was the depth and sincerity in which she loved. Her blessed heart was so sweet and kind. It is the little things in life we don't notice or take for granted that will be missed the most.

Preceded in death by her father, Andrew James Luras.

Survived by daughter, Andrea Laura Brennan; mother, Mickey Luras Larsen; sisters, Roxanne and Renee Luras; brother, Lou Corsillo; soul mate and life partner, David Payne; and countless relatives and friends.
