Cynthia Jean James 1/16/1952 ~ 8/15/2008 "Life is just a chair of bowlies." Cindy, beloved sister, mother, and grandmother, joined her cherished parents after a heroic and courageous battle with cancer. She was born in SLC but also spent great years in California. A lifelong member of the LDS church, Cindy loved her faith and was an example to all. She enjoyed quilting, scrapbooking, and homemaking. But above all, her greatest joy and love was spending time with family. Many happy hours were spent around her kitchen table, playing games and laughing. Cindy is survived by her devoted children, Kelly (CoCo) James, Kris (Melissa) James, Cpl. Shaun James, Bonnie (Kristoffer) Erickson, Rebecca James-LeBlanc, seven fabulous grandchildren that were her heart's delight, and her dear siblings, Linda (Brent) Larsen and Dan Schoenfeld

Cindy was a dear friend. She moved to Salt Lake City her senior year and moved into my neighborhood. We became instant friends. I miss her sweet, kind, loving way about her. Cindy had so many wonderful talents especially cooking and sewing. Cindy had strong testimony of Jesus Christ and she exemplified it by the way she lead her life. I will see you again. Rest In Peace
