Kathy Skousen died July 21, 1972, of nephritis. She was a dear friend of mine and her short life had a positive eternal impact on mine. She was positive, friendly and happy. Her sweet mother, Jewel, recently passed away at age 100. Kathy had a beautiful smile and a cheerful countenance. She had an attitude of gratitude. Two of my favorite memories of Kathy were singing in seminary choir together and attending BYU Adult Education Week with our good friend, Becky Eastmond Cushing.
