Alice Kimball Slusser (Teacher)

Alice Kimball Slusser, died Sept. 12, 1992 of cancer at age 83 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Born June 22, 1909 in Salt Lake City to Don Carlos and Annie C. Kimball. Married Leonard M. Slusser, May 4, 1932 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple; he preceded her in death in 1965. Graduated East High School, Masters Degree University of Utah and taught English at Highland High School in Salt Lake City. Treasurer of the National Society of Daughters of Utah Pioneers and assistant editor of the publication committee. She was very active in many LDS activities including organist, teacher and temple worker.Immediate family includes: Leonard K. Slusser, Salt Lake City; Marian K. Livsey (deceased);

Heber K. Slusser, Sunnyvale, Calif.; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Don C. C. Kimball (deceased); Paul Kimball and five sisters, Pearl McDonald, Mary K.
